MTN and Expresso hit with QoS fines

The Ghanaian cellular operators MTN and Expresso have been fined by the regulator the National Communications Authority (NCA) for providing poor quality of service (QoS). MTN was fined GHS150,000 (USD79,700) and Expresso received a GHS100,000 fine, according to a report from Ghana Business News, though the Expresso penalty has been suspended on condition that it installs a mast to improve services in the Tarkwa area
